The Lizzie Bennet Diaries

My maid-o-honour and Austen fan introduced me to The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (YouTube Tumblr FaceBook). In short, it’s Pride and Prejudice based in modern California and in vlog format. It’s quite awesome and I highly recommend it. I’ll be watching them as I finish out some school and contract work.
I think that the cast and team transcribe the story skillfully. The story isn’t a literal transcription, but has been changed subtly in ways that make it feel much more genuine and as if it really were taking place today.
